
Case Study 1 - Client - Daily Mail Group Antiques Fairs.
Phase 1 - Reviewed all operational practices and managed the restructuring of the majority of operational aspects of the organisation. Identified the need for and then
introduced changes that produced significant operational benefits. This also streamlined the operation and ensured compliance with H&S requirements.
Phase 2 - Reviewed purchasing procedures and contract terms with wide range of suppliers and venues, negotiated significant long-term cost saving measures that exceeded £750k. Operational and safety benefits quickly materialised due to improved communications and systematic approach.
Phase 3 - Identified opportunity to increase revenue by redesigning layout of events which increased revenue by at least 15%. This also significantly improved customer relations, which in turn increased revenue by a further 10%.
Case Study 2 - Client - Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games.
Completed a review of tender documentation and subsequently revised requirement for all temporary structures and infrastructure equipment. Took leading role in the evaluation of all
tender submissions ensuring best value and compliance. Made significant contribution to the design and project managed the construction and fit out of 33% of the competition
venues used during the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games. All works completed under strict H&S guidelines, delivered on time and to budget.
Case Study 3 - Client - Flying Aces.
RFA has managed the ground operational aspects of this new series of Air Racing, over the last 2 years. Events have been staged in Malta, Romania and the UK. The task of managing such
complex logistics events has provided an interesting range of challenges within multi-cultural environments.
